Anonymous asked: MJ, would I be able to use your art online while crediting you? It is for a personal project, and I would love to show one of your pieces there that inspires my character.
Sure! As long as everything is credited properly I really don’t mind. I feel very flattered in fact.
I would love if you could send a link (if it’s online) so I could see it. Not to check if it’s credited or anything, just because I’m curious and I would love to see what you’ve created and what inspired it. I’m sure it’s lovely :)

main illustrations finished. Now to research bee lore and honeybees history.
Also: paint banners, scan all images, format text, find a printer, and print this thing. I predict at least another week or two for this to be done.
I keep being distracted. The slow awakening of Spring is making me restless.
some asked me for videos of how I paint. Here is a quick one of my working on my current project. Tried to make it as clear as possible.
(the video is speeded-up because I wanted to upload it on tumblr, so it had to be less than 5 min, but tumblr was being uncooperative in the upload process. Oh well. You can still get an idea even though it’s fast).
Don’t take this as a tutorial. I have no technique.
working working working. They are a bit less soft than what I wanted, but hey, sometimes you just have to go with it.
redoing my Bzzzz & Honey series in watercolors. Planning a little zine with them.
